To the beach...

This week is my turn to set our Noteworthy card challenge over at Scrapz.Biz.  With our theme being "Bingo Cards" today's challenge is to create a card with a bingo card on it.  After sifting through my stash I found a Jenni Bowlin mini beach bingo card and used that as my starting point to create this sample...

I've teamed the bingo card with some October Afternoon Seaside paper and stickers and used them to build up a little scene.

If you'd like to join in the challenge you can see all the details HERE.

Scrappy shares...

I've got a couple of pages to share today from recent challenges over at Scrapz.Biz.

First up is a page about when Riley brought home his first reader for homework from school.  He was so excited to finally have homework!  Hehe...wish he still had the same enthusiasm now. :)

Here's the sketch I started with...

And this is my sample page...

I've used lots of October Afternoon goodies on this one.  Love these colours!

Handsome little happy face...

The journalling...

Next up is my sample page for last week's inspiration challenge.  (Details HERE.)

I've been digging into my older photos to scrap lately and it's amazing to see how much the kids have grown since then.  Madi looks so little here jumping on her bed!

I can't get enough of pretty banners.  This one was made using October Afternoon!

I've used a mix of felt & crocheted trims and some older American Crafts Dear Lizzy rose trim too...feels good to use up some old stash!

That's it for today.  We're enjoying school holidays at the moment.  The weather is miserable and drizzly but we're making the most of it. I hope you're having a great week so far too!

Scrapz.Biz June Cuddlez Cardmaking Kit

I've had lots of fun this month creating samples from the June cardmaking kit over at Scrapz.Biz!  Here's another two I've made...

There are 18 sheets of 6 x 6 inch patterned papers included in this many to choose from!  I've use 9 different papers on this card and the thickers are also in the kit.  The only things I've added here were the white and kraft cardstock.

The next card features a pretty floral sticker from the sticker sheet along with some word stickers for the sentiment.  I love the little pocket and card from the kit too!  I just punched a hole in the top of the card and added a button and twine to make it into a tag.

Again I've added a little white cardstock but the rest you'll find in the kit!

I've made four cards so far and have loads of product left!  If you'd like to see a full list of what's included in the kit you can see it HERE and it's available for purchase HERE for only $19.95.  Do yourself a favour and check it out! :)

Now that entries have closed for last week's Scrap It Blind challenge I can share my full sample page.

Madi was only about 8 months old in this pic.  I just adore those chubby cheeks!!  Not quite sure why I haven't scrapped this page sooner?  So cute!

I've used Crate Paper Pretty Party Papers & Neighbourhood chipboard, October Afternoon Stickers and Alphas, a Maya Road Kraft Envelope, American Crafts Thickers and American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Chipboard plus a little twine, a brad and button to complete my page...

Thanks for dropping by!

Base Jump Reveal

It's time to reveal my finished sample page from last week's Base Jump Challenge over at Scrapz.Biz.

This was the base design I started with...

And this is what I ended up with...

Since last week's theme at Scrapz was 'In the Kitchen' I chose some photos of Madi taste-testing our first batch of home made cinnamon scrolls...and as you can see she gave them the big thumbs up! LOL  They were delicious!

Hmmm...looking at these pics is giving me the urge to make some more!

I've used Crate Paper Farmhouse papers, stickers and chipboard for this page along with a Maya Road kraft envelope, paper doilies, twine and some Echo Park A Boy's Life Alphas.

Thanks for dropping by!

Scrapz.Biz June Cuddlez Cardmaking Kit

There's a new cardmaking kit for sale over at Scrapz.Biz this month featuring the beautiful American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Collection.

It's great value at only $19.95 considering all the beautiful things that are included in the kit including 18 6x6 papers!  You can see a full list of what's included in the kit HERE and you'll find it available for purchase HERE.

I'm the lucky one who gets to play with the kit this month to share some ideas on what you can do with the kit.

Here's the first card I've created...

I just love this little scooter sticker!  Everything on this card was from the kit (including the stitched bunting) except for a couple of small scraps of white and kraft cardstock.

I'll be back again soon with another card idea!
