What a day!

Just a warning that the following is a bit yuk! I've been madly washing, ironing and packing bags today because I'm taking the kids up to Brissie to stay with Mum & Dad for a few days while Paul is busy with work.....anyway in amongst it all Riley fell and smashed his face on the side table in the lounge room knocking out his front tooth!!!!! OMG!!! There was blood everywhere!! Paul was first on the scene and all we could see was the gaping hole so we were looking on the floor for his tooth but it was actually pushed up under his top lip!!! Well Paul quickly pulled it back down again and put it back in place but needless to say we were all in a bit of a panic! Paul took him down to see the dentist but obviously there's not much they can do. We just need to wait and see what the tooth does - the dentist thinks it will probably discolour and die. Poor little man!!! He's got such a beautiful smile too.....I just can't imagine him with a black tooth........ we're crossing our fingers that by some miracle it will be ok. He's on some antibiotics to it doesn't get infected. Paul and I just can't believe it happened..... He's being so brave too..... he even wanted to brush his teeth before bed tonight but of course he can't in case he bumps it...... he's finding it hurts to drink out of his cup and every now and then he accidently hurts himself... I just want to wrap him up and cuddle him all day long......

Anyway - getting off that subject - we went to see Nemo On Ice yesterday and the boys just absolutely loved it! They had a ball! The looks on their faces was just priceless... it was great! We managed to get a few good photos (I'll scrap them later) and we all really enjoyed it!

We've got an early morning tomorrow - off to Mum's place - I've got about a million things to do before I go to bed tonight! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Sheree xx

  1. Oh no, what a shock. I hope Riley's tooth stops hurting soon and the medicine helps prevent any infection.

Can he use a straw to drink from while he is still in pain?

Accidents happen so fast don't they. Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

Excellent work that you have finished your Masters entry. I am sure it is brilliant and full of colour like all your creations.

My niece who is 18 is taking my daughter to see that Nemo show in about 2 weeks here in Sydney. Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like lots of fun.

Have a great break, keep safe and chat again soon. From Susan (smiles1965) at Scrapboxx

  2. OMG, poor Riley. And poor you, what a shock.

Lucky that he's only young and it's a baby tooth, so it will be replaced in time.

Good luck with the Masters xx

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment. It's so nice to hear from you! :)
