Well - another boring Sunday..... Paul's working so it's just the kids and I - nothing on TV - I could try some scrapping but it's a bit tricky when Madi wants to be cuddled all the time and the boys want this and that! I guess I could do some housework......nahhhhhh! LOL! Maybe I'll just grab a few magazines and go for a bit of inspiration time....
Hope everyone else has a much more exciting day in store!

Awwww... thanks so much Mardi! You've made my day! (Read all about it here.) So now I have the pleasure of passing this award on to another 5 Rockin' Girl Bloggers..... so (drumroll please...) ( I'll try to pick some awesome girls who haven't already been awarded......) I'd love to nominate:

You rock girls!!
There are some fantastic new layouts at Sketches Oz using Mel Diener's sketch - pop over and have a look for some great inspiration. Also go and check out Mardi's blog at what she's been up to lately .... she's got some gorgeous layouts there - especially her "Crafty Matters" creation - so full of colour and a fabulous design - I absolutely LOVE IT Mardi!
Whoops!! Just looked at the clock and I've got a haircut booked in in about 20 mins - better go!!! Have a great day everyone!!

(It took me forever to cut out all those little flowers and stems!) The design team have all created layouts using lovely products supplied by Rasberry. There's some fantastic creations there plus some more sketches you could use. Check them out!
Anyway - back to Ayden. The day after he had his needles he was wrestling with Paul when he suddenly says "Ow Daddy - careful - you hurt my boobies!" Of course Paul apologised but couldn't work out what he did to hurt them...... Then that night at bathtime Ayden was about to get undressed when he says to me "I'd better be careful in the water Mum - I don't want to hurt my boobies!" So I'm thinking why on earth would the water hurt his boobies and couldn't work it out so I asked him and he pointed to his arm and said " My boobies Mum - they're still sore!" Well I laughed and laughed and pointed out to him that is was his arm from his needles, not his boobies that was sore - I think he was confused because the little round circle bandaids were still there and I guess they kind of looked like boobies next to each other (there were two of them after all!). LOL! The things kids say........too funny!!! You just don't know what they'll come out with next!
Well - that's it from me at the moment...I'm off to make a nice hot cuppa and read my new For Keeps mag that came in the mail today....

Here's the deal:
1-post these rules
2-each person tagged must post 8 random (... hopefully interesting) facts about themselves
3-tags should write a blog post of these facts
4- at the end of the post 8 more bloggers are tagged and named
5-go to their blog and leave a comment telling them they're tagged
1. I've done a tandem skydive!!! One of the most exciting things I've ever done!
2. I'm a total chocoholic
3. I got engaged to my hubby at 'Heartbreak Hotel' in the middle of nowhere in the NT
4. I spent a year on a cattle station in the NT
5. Lived on Hamilton Island for about 5 years
6. I have a white birthmark that looks just like a tree in the middle of my back.....weird I know...
7. My fave colour at the moment is pink (comes from having a baby girl I think...)
8. I love the beach but never go swimming in the ocean (so scared of sharks!)
Well there you have it..... Sorry Courtney - I just don't know who I could tag that hasn't already been tagged!
Anyway - it's so nice to have Paul home again - but the poor thing caught the virus that's going around on his way home (he thinks on the plane from the lady sitting next to him) so he was only home for a day or so and then he was knocked flat sick in bed for a few days! He's only just coming good again now...He was finally back at work yesterday.
Haven't really done much this week - just been catching up on the usual washing & ironing, etc. (There seems to be so much more during winter!) I did finally start sorting out all my layouts into some new D ring albums (new Printblocks ones - only about $20ea - they're fantastic!) so I'm starting to feel quite organised. I've been meaning to do it for ages.
We were very proud of Ayden the other day when we took him for his 4yr old needles - he was soooo brave and didn't even utter a word or a wimper!!! Just sat there and even watched the 2nd one going in!!! Paul and I couldn't believe it - we have been dreading taking him for them - which is sort of why we've put it off for so long... Anyway - he was rewarded with a brand new Transformer toy which he picked out at the Target toy sale (good timing!).
Other than that we've just been hanging out at home staying warm and cosy.... We've even had a couple of 0 degree nights here on the Gold Coast! Brrrrrrrr!
Hope everyone is great and having a fantastic weekend!

Have a go yourself and you could win a great prize! It's well worth it and it's such a fun sketch to work with!
We're finally home from Mum & Dad's place! We went to stay there because Paul has been over in the USA on a course for work so what better excuse huh? It was great to see them but I'm sure after the first couple of days they would've been happier if we would just go home....we all got sick!! First Riley, then Ayden, then Madison and of course then me! It was terrible - we basically spent most of our little trip away grabbing buckets, running to the bathroom and just feeling aweful..... must have been a virus going around but we don't know where we picked it up from..... Ayden even ended up with an ear infection resulting a mad dash to the doctor late on Friday afternoon.....today we're all good - of course on the day we come home! I can't remember the last time I felt that bad. All I can say is thank goodness I decided to go to Mum's while Paul was away - I don't know what I would've done otherwise! (Thanks Mum & Dad for all your help - I soooooo appreciate it!)
In amongst it all I had to complete 3 layouts for a Design Team Challenge for my LSS - I had managed to get the first 2 done while the kids were sick but I had to do the third one on the day I felt the worst so I could post them off the next day. Probably not my best work but I did the best I could at the time - I have to say scrapping was the last thing I felt like doing all week! At least I got it all done and sent away on time....... I'll have to wait and see how I go now......
On a brighter note Riley's tooth is looking a lot better! You can tell it's not quite in the same position that it was but his gum looks good and it hasn't discoloured yet. We're crossing our fingers that it is ok.
Well - now that I'm home I've got a million things to do.... unpacking, dinner, baths, etc, etc... I'm sure that my next post will be much more positive!
Hope everyone else has had a fabulous week!!!

Anyway - getting off that subject - we went to see Nemo On Ice yesterday and the boys just absolutely loved it! They had a ball! The looks on their faces was just priceless... it was great! We managed to get a few good photos (I'll scrap them later) and we all really enjoyed it!
We've got an early morning tomorrow - off to Mum's place - I've got about a million things to do before I go to bed tonight! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Had some other exciting news this week - I'm a finalist in a DT comp at my LSS. I've now got to complete a 3 layout challenge using products they gave me in a little pack. Should be fun! I'm off to Mum & Dad's on Tuesday for a week and a half so I'll have to do them there and post them into the shop. I'm a little bit nervous.......... I'll just have to see what I come up with.......
We're off to see 'Nemo On Ice' tomorrow with the kids and Mum & Dad (Dad's reeaaaally looking forward to it - he he he). The boys should love it! I can't wait to see their faces when it starts.......
Looks like Paul's making me a nice hot cuppa .... mmmmmm..... just what I need - it's still a bit cool here today!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
